Inspired by my love of nature and tropical palettes, this work was commenced in
Autumn of 2020. The colours were inspired by long mountain street walks with my
family. I often take photos of leaves to paint from later. I decided to finish the work
years later, despite being stuck as to how many leaves to include. I could finally see
where it was going. Emily Wurramurra's song 'Carry me home'; was playing while I
finished the work and the reference to a 'calling to home'; stuck in my thoughts. This
helped bring calm and presence, despite the work being very energetic.
 
Artwork will be shipped after the group show has ended after the 21st of December. You may not receive artwork till the New Year, due to Post Office Christmas Holiday closures.
