Arriving at age 40 felt like a momentous event. I wanted to capture this time in my life
as a way of celebrating the highs and lows of life leading up to this point. The
background had been painted during an Artist Residency at North Stradbroke Island,
which in many ways is my home away from home. The canvas then sat in my studio
for 2 years, before I finally decided to paint my face into the marks.
 
Artwork will be shipped after the group show has ended after the 21st of December. You may not receive artwork till the New Year, due to Post Office Christmas Holiday closures.
