In this lesson, we will be painting a portrait of 2 figures from a reference photo. I will show you how to create an interesting background using hi-flow acrylics and inks that can be incorporated in any of your paintings. I will walk you through my thought process on creating an interesting painting by drawing inspiration from artists of the past. I will show you several methods to transfer your sketch to your final substrate as well as using pattern and color to bring your artwork to life. We will be using mixed media to create this artwork.
