Lillies in Bloom by Kat Hamilton
This product is part of the Monarch Art Collective Group show "Wild" and is by artist Kat Hamilton
Painted in a braced 30cm wood panel, ready to hang.
This beauty was inspire by the brilliant Walter Crane’s “Lillies”. Walter was a renowned artist of his time, had a soft spot for capturing the beauty of nature, and lilies were his muse. He was all about infusing his paintings with a sense of tranquility and appreciation for the simple joys in life - that is, when he was taking a break from all the heavy stuff to do with social justice and politics. So when he painted "Lilies," it was his way of inviting viewers to pause and immerse themselves in the serenity of nature. Walter wanted to remind us to slow down and savor the beauty around us and I hope to convey that same feel in my painting.
Artwork will be shipped after the group show has ended after the 21st of December. You may not receive artwork till the New Year, due to Post Office Christmas Holiday closures.
